This is a group of ultrasounds that basically refer to most organs and glands in the neck region. These include:

  • Thyroid ultrasounds, looking for things such a goitre, nodules, growths and cysts

  • Lymphnodes of the neck

  • Salivary glands

  • Neck muscle abnormalities

PREPARATION FOR A NECK ULTRASOUND:

No particular preparation is required for this investigation.
