Our COVID Procedures

St. Andrews Clinics is adhering strictly to all mitigation measures and all visitors must comply or be refused entry.

  • Clinics are strictly by appointment; no walk-ins are accepted.

  • Appointments cannot be made in person but by phone, WhatsApp message or email.

  • You will be asked about your requirements, as well as risks of exposure to, or symptoms of, COVID.

  • Failure to disclose such information may result in a refusal.

  • Some requests may be directed to the particular doctor for vetting.

  • Callers with any COVID symptoms will be asked to call 111 for a swab test first, and must produce a negative result before being given an appointment.

  • In order to maintain social distancing, the waiting room will not be used.

  • On arrival, do not walk in, but phone the receptionist to announce you have arrived.

  • You will be asked to wait outside, or ideally in your car.

  • In order to avoid unnecessary crowding, do not arrive early for your appointment.

  • Maintain a safe distance of 2m from others even while waiting outside.

  • Once it is your turn you will be called or contacted.

  • MASKS must be worn at all times in the clinic, covering nose, mouth, and chin.

  • Visors alone are not advisable, and hence discouraged. Masks can be purchased from the reception.

  • Please use the sanitisers available at the door or by the reception on your way in and way out.

  • Maintain social distancing whilst inside or queuing for the receptionist.

  • Cashless methods of payments would be preferred.

This is at the discretion of each practitioner. Most accept one person accompanying a patient. For safety reasons, women attending for gynae or antenatal ultrasounds cannot be accompanied at all. Please ask for clarification when making an appointment.
